from completed build Legacy Build (2022)
Solid board with a good VRM setup. This board has done everything I've asked of it with no issues.
from completed build Landscapers Paradise and Gaming Station
This is my first MSI MOBO and so far I'm happy with it. Just like every board out there it has it's ups and downs. I can say that it sure doesn't work when you install a PCI-e USB-C card, nor does it work if you install an PCI-e 2 port or 4 port M.2 card. I have tried a few different brands and nothing works with this motherboard. Otherwise this has been rock solid.
from completed build Built for Blender
Ultimately I went with this for the integrated wifi and after seeing several reviews saying some of the other boards (carbon?) weren't so great. Was it overkill? Likely yes. I also went X570 because I bought it before B550 was more broadly available. In a revised parts list I'd likely drop to a B550 alternative.
from completed build Purple Haze
I spent a long time looking at boards and fell in love with this one. Did my first BIOS update to get the 5600x up and running. No problem at all.
from completed build The Fish Tank
The board seems to be working well. If I had the chance over I would not get the WiFi version simply because I am not going to use that function much if at all. This is my bad not the manufacturers
from completed build Black Box
First board had to be RMAd. The fan headers were kind of in an inconvenient spot for my case.
from completed build Rack-mount Desktop
Great passively cooled X570, good linux support, support 5000 series out of the box
from completed build Gaming rig for a colleague
Three recent builds with this board now and it's been a rock-solid performer in all of them, using 5950X and 5900X and CL14 RAM in all. BIOS update process is super easy from USB and configuring overclocks is super straightforward.
