Description
Friend didn't have a PC but I had some parts lying around from when I upgraded my computer. He bought the parts that were needed and I threw this together for him. Definitely far from the greatest, but gotta start from somewhere. Plus, being on the AM4 platform there's plenty of room for upgrades.
The CPU, NVME, and GPU were all pulled from my system as I upgraded. Honestly, that little 1050 is quite the trooper and it's nice still seeing it go.
Case is just the good ol' Versa H17. Used it in my brother's build too. It's a solid case for the price, nothing fancy but it looks good and is easy to build in.
PSU was actually on sale for a really good price at the time. Unsure how much exactly, but it was roughly around $50.
Part Reviews
Video Card
Pretty restrictive as far as VRAM goes, but super light on power usage and honestly quite a trooper of a GPU. It won't be playing any AAA games at high FPS, but for low intensity indie titles its the perfect card.
Case
For the price there's not really anything that competes that doesn't look like its stuck in 2010 or made extremely cheaply with sharp edges. This is a basic case but comes with all the amenities you would usually need, and doesn't look half bad in the process. Easy to build in. The only real issue I have with this complaint is the airflow is pretty abysmal, so I wouldn't recommend cramming high TDP parts in here.
