Description

Built this so I wouldn't go insane sitting around in my house before I move home this weekend and probably stay there for most of this spring and summer. Everything went smoothly, booted up first try! I always love watching tech channels and I've only ever known probooks and "family computers," so this is new and exciting.

Thanks! Was planning on a 5700XT despite driver issues, then I saw this guy pop up the day of my purchases for $400 so I took it!

Awesome cable management, just about better than any first-build that I've seen!

Dude, I don't know what's going on but prices are dropping unilaterally across the internet on everything. You got a hell of a deal on that GPU, it normally lists for around $600 and it's still $400 on Newegg. Wow, go job man and nice build.

yea it's nuts! Looks like a repurposed 1080ti cooler they had, MSI factories have been shut for some time, so this must be a way to make more cards without producing more.

As we speak, the R5 3600 just dropped to $160. Sick man. The Asus ROG Strix Crosshair VII, down from 289.99 to 195.00! Time to build another rig!

I just bought one too! I like it so far. Was thinking about going 2060S when I saw that one for cheaper!

Hi I've got the exact same powersupply and gpu does it make any difference that the two pin isn't connected to anything?

It usually won't, unless you will be doing some overclocking, then you might want to plug it in.

Nope! It's just chillin, it doesn't affect performance or how much power the gpu gets.

Hi, I'm doing a similar micro build with hopefully the same mobo cpu combo, in the past there have been some issues with the wrong BIOS version? Did you need to do anything with that? Did your mobo come with a "Ryzen 3000 ready" sticker on it?

Hi, I didn't gave any issues with getting into bios and installing windows. The mobo box did come with the "ryzen 3000 ready" sticker as well as being the right mobo, as it was the "MAX" version. I may update the bios later on as it's one of the first ryzen 3000 bios versions, but so far I have had no problems with system stability.

Nice build! I was going to get a 2060S when I saw this same GPU pop up for 400 plus a $15 rebate from MSI. Thing performs like a champ. I managed to OC the core clock to +200 and mem clock to +800. Have you tried overclocking it yet? I have nearly the same exact build as you lol.

Yeah it's awesome dude! I haven't manually OC'd it hard yet, but I put a +125 on on the core and +250 on the memory and it's been super stable. It's a crazy card!

Are you able to fit a network card in there just below the video card? Just wondering because I ordered a similar build with the same case and MOBO

Hey! So you could, but you would have to compromise with suffocating one of the fans right above it, as long as you get a true 2 slot card.

How about that 3200MHz RAM? Works good? Is it just fine - no need to push it to 3600MHz? (I am thinking rn about this exact combo ryzen 3600 + MSi b450M pro M2 + corsair ven. 16gb 3200) ...and RX 5600xt graphics

Hey works great! No issues with 3200MHZ. I stressed it AIDA64 and it's stable, It feels snappy and good in games so I haven't tried pushing it.

hey bro, love the build! I'm building a pc and I'm looking for a good cheap mobo, but i've read the reviews on this one, and it looks good but there are only two fan headers, did you buy a fan splitter? Also, did everything work fine with the cpu. I'm looking to buy the ryzen 5 3600 as well

Hey, the fans I had all had splitters on them so I connected them all on one header, the 3600 is great! i browse the web and game and it's been perfect for that.

Hi! Did you had to update the BIOS? Or the product comes already ready for 3th Gen?
