This is my first build ever ,
A workstation for programming , video editing & gaming .
Took couple of days to this build to be done & stable with 5.0ghz oc.
I have the TKL version of that keyboard. Awesome PC too.
Thanks dude .
Is that a OnePlus 3 or 3T?
Oneplus 2 😬
oof. Time to upgrade to the new OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition that came out today.
Actually those phones are for Android development purposes , for daily drive I use Oneplus 6 🤘🏻 .
Although I would go for the 7T Pro ME too .
jeez; this is kind of insane for a first build
You're right , I've always been a laptop user !! Heavy gaming laptops .
Alienware area-51m was my last laptop for gaming and as editing contents workstation until I got a laptop from work that good enough .
So I decided to try PC setup & here it is .
it looks great!
Hey do you know what the best position for aio negative pressure or positive
Hi , sorry for the late reply .
Actually that was one of my concerns while building specially for gpu not getting enough cool air from the top .
Tried all the options available for this case ,
some configurations from "gamers nexus" tests on the h500 https://youtu.be/7HK5Aulw7YI + push pull.
Managed to reduce heat in both idle & load for the gpu & vrms & m.2 ssd by switching the top fan (From exhaust to intake ).
*Top filter added : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XX47MZ7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_nJCRDbK2KHBY6
(CPU / GPU / VRM MOS )
Currently temps results:
idle : 32°/ 39°/36° load : 65°/ 68°/ 72°
Stock configuration temps results:
idle : 34°/51°/57° load : 78°/72°/89°
I believe I can reduce temps even more by adding a slim /quit/slow fan to the radiator from inside ( less for front push pull but more for helping push the heat to the back exhaust fan since I switched the other exhaust fan ) .
Probably a Note device, but kind of looks like a 3 or 3T... I don't know..
I like the ryzen 3900x better personally...
Ever heard of gaming performance? I'm more of an i9-9900K person, living my best 5.2GHz on all 8 cores type life.
Ever heard of Streaming? the 3900x can do 4.6 with 12 cores. Plus 7nm architecture. So yeah, game on 8 cores, and stream on another 4. It also has a higher base clock then the i9.
And the 3950x can do 4.3, with 16 cores. So, game on 8-12, and stream on 4-8. 7nm.
Clock speed isn't everything though. The 3900x also has a higher L2 and L3 cache.
Where AMD really shines though is in workstations where more cores really starts to matter. AMD is also killing intel right now with server cpus (64 cores....) All while being more cost effective.
I had a tough time trying to reach a stable 5.0ghz OC on this CPU with this parts combination like RAM , Mobo , cpu cooler , psu & 3rd party OC applications like afterburner , aorus engine ...etc.
So If anyone needs help getting a stable OC with build ~ like mine , It will be my pleasure to advise
i am trying to get the same case, cooler and motherboard, but i5 9600k instead of 9900k...g skill trident z rb 2x8 gb 3200, rtx 2070 super...i am planning to push to 5.2 Ghz..is it possible with this case is my concern...i will use front as intake and both 120mm and 140 mm back as outtake.
Sorry for my late reply ,
I believe yes but you might need a bit of creativity .
I managed to achieve 5.0ghz with : 26° idle / 73° full load / 60° gaming by :
1) Removed the cable management bracket .
2) Added a 140mm(cm mf140r.a.rgb) fan on the radiator (inside) .
3) Replaced the 120mm top fan with 140mm(cm mf140r.a.rgb) as top exhaust .
4) Replaced the 120mm back exhaust fan with more efficient / less noisy (cm mf120r.a.rgb).
Will update pics , you can see it .
and what are you using for holding your headphones?
😬 it was a magnetic phone holder for car 😬 , now I'm using nzxt puck ( white ) .
lol ... Once the sleeve cables arrive I will install it & update it here with a wish that you give me a higher score if that possible 🤗 .
