Description

This was actually my very first build. I’ll be doing moderate gaming, and I don’t own 4K anything yet so I’ll be gaming and streaming in 1080p. I have plans to upgrade to a 2080 once I save up and get a 4K monitor. Hope everyone enjoys!

How is the 1660 ti treating you?

It's actually working pretty well. I can't complain.

Good build but you should get a rtx 2070 or 2080 with the i9 processor.

I will be getting the 2080 once I save up enough money. The 1660 ti is decent enough for the pricepoint for what I'm gaming with at the moment.

Sorry, Let's Go Preds! ...but nice build man. Are the bobbleheads supposed to be Hank and Zuccarello?

Yea man I thought it was kind of a cool touch to the build. Preds are doing very well this year.

Sorry, Go Jets!!! I like the build, it looks cool! I was thinking about building a PC with the GTX 1660 Ti. Is it good?

It performs extremely well in 1080p anything higher youd want a more powerful card.

It's a stylish build. But have you considered the fact that there's possible GPU bottlenecking? An rtx 2080 or gtx 1080 to would fit the,i9 perfectly

I am getting an RTX 2080 once I save up a little more money. the 1660 ti was an ok card for the pricepoint at the moment. But thanks I'm thinking of having modcables made up in Red, White, and Blue for the case.

How's the airflow in your case? I'm interested in that case, but I don't know if it'll be choked for air.

To be honest I feel like it depends on what you put in it. With all my parts listed it gets a little warm but nothing too serious. Most of the newer GPUs are more efficient so they won't be putting off as much heat. The I9 runs really hot. On a full burn I have it at about 89c. However, I'm overclocking it at 5 GHz and when I'm gaming it comes no where close to that. usually around 60c.
